Does anyone know if I can use different burner grates on our BZ. We have one with the typical broken arm and we'd like to see if we can perhaps replace it with one that has a solid or fixed center (heat-holder or speed grate with protector)Thanx, Pete

It would be great if one of the super knowledgeable Chambers folks could post photos of the diiferent grates and their dedicated stoves and which grates -if any- are interchangeable.

I posted the pics of Big Bertha's (14-B) 3 different grates. When the board went down. So, I posted it on the CRTS site. Unfortunately, I don't know how to move the pic to this board for the others to view, who might have missed it.
Ohhhhhh lowracer can you help with the tech stuff??

This lowracer is where I get so fustrated. I don't see this particular pic. I have windowsXP and I usually just get a red x, if I right click on 'show pic' and nothing happens. Then I'm ready to throw in the towel. Mac users don't seem to have the problem as much as us window users.

Hi Pete;
I replaced one of my BZ's broken grates with the heat holder/open center grate from a B and it fits and works great!

Thanks guys (and ladies)Now onto my next project. Finding a set of different grates to fit our BZ!
Anybody got any extra or know where to locate an open center and a pecolter grate to fit? I'll end up with one extra, unbroken speed grate if I can find them. Again, thank you...Pete

Here's what the Chambers Model B parts list calls them:

You could have them in Black or Chrome. The Black was about $2.25 and the Chrome was about #4.25 in 1958, ordered from Oxford, Miss.
